Presenter:            Carol Ginandes, Ph.D. is a health psychologist on staff at McLean Hospital, Belmont, MA,

and at Harvard Medical School.  Her clinical work focuses on the use of hypnosis to address a wide

range of mind/body issues.  Her research work is on hypnotically facilitated healing.  This talk will

present an overview of clinical applications of clinical hypnosis, demystify common myths and discuss

current and future research directions in the field.
