About the Center for CAM Research in
Aging and Women's Health


The Center's interdisciplinary group of local, national and international  researchers and practitioners are conducting a range of clinical and basic science studies. One focus is on herbal medicine and dietary approaches for postmenopausal women, including:

The Center has a post-graduate fellowship program to train researchers in CAM and the summer program may include time abroad experiencing traditional systems of medicine.  The pilot research program focuses on new research areas and the collection of preliminary data, innovative methodologies, and novel approaches to the study of aging and women's health.

The Center runs a regular series of Journal Club meetings.
